Cohen is entering his fourth season as the head coach of the men and women’s tennis programs at Juniata College.

In 2013-14, the women's team finished with an overall record of 11-6, which was the second-highest win total in program history, and qualifed for the Landmark Conference Tournament for the second straight season. Heather Waring and Megan Phillips earned Landmark First Team honors in doubles play for the second straight year and also earned second team honors in singles competition.

The men posted an overall record of 17-2 and went a perfect 7-0 in the conference, which were both program records. The team also claimed its first postseason win with a 5-1 victory over Moravian in the Landmark semifinals. Dean Polisena was tabbed the Landmark's Rookie and Player of the Year and became the second player in conference history to do. Justin Wisniewski earned First Team All-Landmark honors. Elliott Perow and Bryan Gregory were both named to the Second Team and the duo of Wisniewski and Gregory were Second Team honorees for doubles. In addition, Cohen was named the Coach of the Year.

Academically, the women's team won the Juniata team GPA award for having the highest collective GPA for the third straight year. In addition, six members of the team were named ITA Scholar Athletes

Each of Cohen’s teams earned 15 academic awards during the 2012-13 season, including the John E. Blood Award which is presented to the senior student-athlete who earned the highest grade point average (GPA) combined with significant athletic achievement at Juniata.  The women’s tennis team also won the Juniata team GPA award for having the highest collective GPA of all the institutions intercollegiate sports.

Not slowing down in the offseason, Cohen headed to Europe to coach junior tennis players with TENNIS:EUROPE in tournaments across Italy, Holland and France during the summer of 2013.  The team consisted of 15 juniors who ranged from 13-16 years of age and hailed from all over the country.

In the 2012 men's spring season, the Eagles posted a 7-8 record, recording two Landmark wins.  A rebuilding women’s team finished 2-9 but still saw three land on Landmark All-Conference teams.

Cohen comes to Juniata having spent four years as the head men and women's tennis coach at Stevenson University in Stevenson, Md. During Cohen’s tenure at Stevenson, the Mustangs qualified for the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) tournament every season, and three of Cohen’s student-athletes earned All-CAC honors.

Academically, the Cohen-coached Stevenson women’s team won the school’s GPA award in 2010, and finished second in 2011.

Cohen led Stevenson tennis in a number of community service and outreach programs during his time as head coach. The Mustang tennis student-athletes volunteered with the Special Olympics national championships during the team’s 2011 spring break trip to Hilton Head, S.C., and volunteered time with the Maryland Unified Sports Tennis State High School Invitational.

On campus, Stevenson hosted a United States Tennis Association (USTA) men’s open event in each of the last four seasons, and also hosted a USTA Campus Kid’s Day in 2010 to raise interest in both Stevenson tennis and the sport in general.

In addition to his collegiate coaching experience, Cohen was a teaching pro at Greenspring Racquet Club from 2008 to 2011. Since 2011, Cohen has been the assistant tennis pro at Baltimore Country Club.

A four-year letterwinner at Stevenson (then known as Villa Julie College), Cohen played No. 1 singles and doubles for the Mustangs, completing his career with the school records for singles and doubles victories. A three-time team captain, he twice earned All-North Eastern Athletic Conference (NEAC) honors and led the Mustangs to NEAC championships in his junior and senior seasons. A 2007 graduate of Stevenson, Cohen has a bachelor’s degree in computer information systems.
