HUNTINGDON, Pa. – The men's tennis team blanked conference opponent Lycoming 9-0 Tuesday afternoon at home.
Starting strong in doubles play, Arsen Tabaldyev and Arthur DeYoung bested their opponent 8-1 in first doubles. Basile Gandon and Adrián Di Benedetto Vásquez swept their match up 8-0 in second doubles while Utsav Deravariya and Ezenna Emuka won 8-6 in third doubles.
Singles play saw more wins as Tabaldyev won 6-3, 6-0 in first singles and Gandon beat his opponent 6-1, 6-0. Di Benedetto Vásquez swept his match up 6-0, 6-0 in third singles as Ross Conway came out on top 8-1 in fourth singles. DeYoung got the Eagles another point in fifth singles, winning 8-3 while Dillon Murphy blanked his opponent 8-0 in sixth singles.
The Eagles host Catholic for Senior Day Saturday, April 13 at 1:00 pm.
