Men's Tennis Pick up Back-to-Back Wins with Victory over Northwestern

ORLANDO, Fla.- The Juniata men's tennis team secured back-to-back match wins at the UTSA National Campus with a 5-4 win over Northwestern (Minn.). Arsen Tabaldyev and Ross Conway earned an 8-4 first singles win, while Basile Gandon and Adrián Di Benedetto Vásquez scored a second doubles tiebreaker win 7 -1. Utsav Deravariya and Dillon Murphy were unsuccessful in their third doubles match as they lost 5-8. 

Tabaldyev picked up a first singles win 7-5, 7-5, while Gandon fell in a late tiebreaker 7-5, 1-6, 03-110. Di Benedetto Vásquez earned a third singles win 6-3, 6-2, and Conway completed match wins for Juniata in a competitive fourth singles match 6-2, 4-6, 110-07. Arthur DeYoung couldn't recover from a first-set tiebreaker loss in fifth singles, falling 65-77, 1-6. Murphy was unsuccessful in sixth singles, losing 1-6, 6-2, 08-110. 

The Juniata men's tennis team completes their spring training trip on Wednesday morning at 10:00 am against Transylvania.
