ORLANDO, Fla.- The Juniata men's tennis team faced Belhaven at the USTA National Tennis Center on Monday morning, securing a 6-3 win.
Adrián Di Benedetto Vásquez and Basile Gandon earned Juniata's lone doubles win in second doubles 8-4. Arsen Tabldyev and Ross Conway were defeated 5-8 in first doubles, while Arthur DeYoung and Ezenna Emuka lost 7 4 - 8 10 in third doubles.
Gandon earned a 6-2, 6-4 second doubles win, and Di Benedetto Vásquez earned a 6-0, 5 10 - 7 3, 10-3 win. Conway also won it late in fourth singles, 6-5, 4-6, 10-5. DeYoung and Dillon Murphy played fifth and sixth singles, respectively, both winning 6-2, 6-2. Tabaldyev had Juniata's lone singles lost in first singles, 4-6, 4-6.
The Juniata men's tennis team will play in Orlando tomorrow at 6:00 p.m. when they face Northwestern (Minn.)
