Men's Tennis Drops Landmark Semifinal Match at Scranton

SCRANTON, Pa.- The Juniata men's tennis team fell, 5-0 at Scranton in the Landmark Conference semifinal match, Tuesday.

Ilia Buralkin (Moscow, Russia / -) fell, 7-5, 6-0 at first singles, Roy Liberman (Montevideo, Uruguay / EIHU) fell, 6-0, 6-2 and, Owen Grafe (Newton, Mass. / Newton North) fell, 6-3, 4-3 (unfinished) at third singles. Dan Ansel (Lancaster, Pa. / Manheim Township) fell, 6-3, 5-0 (unfinished) at fourth singles, Jason Gerber (Commack, N.Y. / Commack High School) was up 3-2 before the match up called unfinished at fifth singles, and Matthew Munoz (Worthington, Ohio. / Findlay HS) was unable to finish the match at sixth singles. 

Buralkin and Grafe fell, 8-4 at first doubles, Ansel and Liberman fell, 8-5 at second doubles, and Seth Strawser (Richfield, Pa. / Juniata HS) and Gerber fell, 8-7 (7-4) at third doubles. 

The Eagles close out their season, 10-3 overall and 5-2 in the Landmark.
