Men's Tennis Drops First Match of the Season at Scranton

SCRANTON, Pa.- The Juniata men's tennis team dropped their first match of the season as they fell, 7-2 at Scranton, Sunday.

Ilia Buralkin Moscow, Russia / -) and Owen Grafe (Newton, Mass. / Newton North) won, 8-5 at first doubles, Roy Liberman (Montevideo, Uruguay / EIHU) and Jason Gerber (Commack, N.Y. / Commack High School) fell, 8-1 at second doubles, and Matthew Munoz (Worthington, Ohio. / Findlay HS) and Seth Strawser (Richfield, Pa. / Juniata HS) fell, 8-5 at third doubles. 

Buralkin fell, 5-7, 8-2, 12-10 at first singles, Liberman fell, 6-1, 6-0 at second singles, and Grafe fell, 7-5, 6-2 at third singles. Gerber fell, 6-0, 6-0 at fourth doubles, Munoz won, 6-3, 6-3 at fifth singles, and Robert Singer (Olney, Md. / Sherwood HS) fell, 6-1, 6-3. 

The Eagles travel to Catholic, Saturday April 13th. The match is set to start at 1:00PM.
