ALTOONA, Pa.- The Juniata men's tennis team opened up conference play with a, 8-1 win over Moravian.
Ilia Buralkin (Moscow, Russia / -) and Owen Grafe (Newton, Mass. / Newton North) won, 8-0 at first doubles, Roy Liberman (Montevideo, Uruguay / EIHU) and Dan Ansel (Lancaster, Pa. / Manheim Township) won, 8-7 at second doubles, and Jason Gerber (Commack, N.Y. / Commack High School) and Seth Strawser (Richfield, Pa. / Juniata HS) won, 8-1 at third doubles.
Buralkin won, 6-1, 7-5 at first singles, Grafe won, 6-1, 7-5 at third singles, and Ansel won, 6-2, 6-1 at fourth singles. Gerber won, 6-1, 6-0 at fifth singles and Matthew Munoz (Worthington, Ohio. / Findlay HS) won, 6-1, 6-1 at sixth singles.
Juniata returns home tomorrow to host Elizabethtown at 11:00 AM for a conference match.
