CRESSON, Pa.- The Juniata men's tennis team defeated Mt. Aloysius, 7-2, Sunday afternoon.
Owen Grafe (Newton, Mass. / Newton North) and Jason Gerber (Commack, N.Y. / Commack High School) won, 8-4 at second doubles. Dan Ansel (Lancaster, Pa. / Manheim Township) and Robert Singer (Olney, Md. / Sherwood HS) won, 8-3 at third doubles.
Ilia Buralkin (Moscow, Russia / -) won, 1-6, 6-4, 6-4 at first singles, Grafe won, 6-4, 6-0 at third singles, and Ansel won, 6-4, 6-4 at fourth singles. Gerber won, 6-0, 6-0 at fifth singles and Singer won, 6-0, 6-2 at sixth singles.
The Eagles will host Gettysburg for their first home match of the season, March 22nd at 3:30PM.
