Men's Tennis Falls to Goucher in Landmark Conference Match

TOWSON, Md.- The Juniata men's tennis team fell to Goucher in a Landmark Conference match.

Matyas Kohout (Prague, Czech Republic / Gymnasium Jizni Mesto) and Dan Ansel (Lancaster, Pa. / Manheim Township) lost, 8-3 at first doubles. Owen Grafe (Newton, Mass. / Newton North) and Jason Gerber (Commack, N.Y. / Commack High School) fell, 8-5 at second doubles. Rory Donalson (East Yorkshire, England / Beverley Grammar School) and Daichi McAuliffe-Uchida (Wantage, N.J. / High Point Regional HS) lost, 8-1 at third doubles. 

Kohout fell, 7-5, 6-1 at first singles, McAuliffe-Uchida fell, 6-1, 6-1 at second singles, and Grafe lost, 6-2, 7-6 (7-1) at third singles. Ansel fell, 6-1, 6-4 at fourth singles, Gerber lost, 6-1, 6-2 at fifth singles, and Donaldson lost, 6-1, 6-1 at sixth singles. 

The Eagles return tomorrow as they will face Catholic at 1:00PM.
