HILTON HEAD, S.C.- The Juniata men's tennis team lost, 6-3 to Union (N.Y.), Thursday afternoon.
Matyas Kohout (Prague, Czech Republic / Gymnasium Jizni Mesto) and Dan Ansel (Lancaster, Pa. / Manheim Township) lost, 8-2 at first doubles, Jason Gerber (Commack, N.Y. / Commack High School) and Owen Grafe (Newton, Mass. / Newton North) won, 8-5 at second doubles, and Daichi McAuliffe-Uchida (Wantage, N.J. / High Point Regional HS) and Rory Donaldson (East Yorkshire, England / Beverley Grammar School) won, 8-1 at third doubles.
Kohout lost, 6-2, 6-2 at first singles, McAuliffe-Uchida won, 0-6, 6-4, 0-1 at second singles, and Grafe lost, 7-5, 6-1 at third singles. Ansel lost, 6-0, 6-2 at fourth singles, Gerber lost, 6-1, 5-1 at fifth singles, and Donaldson lost, 7-5, 6-2 at sixth singles.
The Eagles return to action March 28th, they will face Messiah at home at 4:00PM.
