SALISBURY, Md.- The Juniata men's tennis team played its second match in as many days on Sunday against Salisbury. The Seagulls defeated the Eagles by the score of 8-1.

The Eagles picked up their only point of the day in doubles play. The pair of Owen Grafe (Newton, Mass./Newton North) and Matyas Kohout (Prague, Czech Republic / Gymnasium Jizni Mesto) defeated Pat McLean and Grant Hudson 8-4 at second double. Juniata nearly had another win at first doubles by Dean Polisena (Adelaide, Australia/Saint Ignatius) and Roy Liberman (Montevideo, Uruguay/EIHU) but they were edged out by Colt Williamson and Ian Siew 9-8.

In singles play, Liberman needed a super tiebreaker against Siew at second flight. Siew took the first set 6-1 while Liberman won the second 7-5. Siew claimed the tiebreaking set 10-6. At third singles, Kohout lost narrowly to Hudson in the first set 7-6 and fell 6-3 in the second.

Juniata is idle until March 25 when it travels to Gettysburg. Match time with the Bullets will be at 4:00 p.m.
