TOWSON, Md.- The Landmark Conference announced its Men's Tennis awards on Wednesday. Juniata was represented by senior Bryan Gregory (Glen Mills, Pa./Garnet Valley) and freshman Owen Grafe (Newton, Mass./Newton North) as they were named to the Second Team in doubles play.
Gregory had played all but two matches this season with Grafe while Grafe had Gregory for all but one match. Together, the two went 13-4 overall on the season and 6-0 in Landmark play at third doubles. They finished the season winning eight straight matches including both of their matches in the Landmark Tournament. The duo had the best winning percentage (.786) among all other pairs at third doubles in the Landmark.
Gregory was 15-4 overall in doubles competition and 7-0 in the Landmark in 2016 while Grafe was 14-4 overall and 6-0 in the conference. Gregory's 57 career doubles victories are the most in Juniata men's tennis program history.
