Men’s Tennis Felled By Nationally Ranked F&M

LANCASTER, Pa.- The Juniata men's tennis faced #29 Franklin and Marshall on Tuesday afternoon. The Diplomats came out on the winning end with a 9-0 victory.

 

In doubles play, the toughest match came at second doubles. Matyas Kohout (Krhanice, Czech Republic/Gymnasium Jizni Mesto) and Dan Ansel (Lancaster, Pa./Manheim Township) hung with Inigo Flores and Vasant Rajamanickam but were defeated by the score of 9-7.

 

In singles competition, Roy Liberman (Montevideo, Uruguay/EIHU) faced off Zack Levin in second singles in the closest match of the afternoon. Liberman lost 6-3, 7-5.

 

The Eagles return to Landmark play this Saturday when they travel to Washington D.C. to take on Catholic. Start time is 1:00 pm.
