DANBURY, CT- After his MVP performance in the Landmark Conference Tournament, junior men's tennis player Bryan Gregory (Glen Mills, PA/Garnet Valley) has been selected as the Corvias ECAC South Division III Player of the Week. This is his first weekly honor of the season.
In the Landmark Championship match last Saturday, Gregory was the only Eagle to win twice as Juniata won 5-3 over Goucher to claim their first Landmark title. He won his fourth singles match against Midori Fujitani 6-2, 6-2 and paired with Mike Lifshitz (Worcester, MA/Worcester Academy) at third doubles to defeat Britt Shortle and Josh Goldberg 8-4.
He was the only player on the Eagles to go 8-0 in Landmark singles play during the regular season and went 4-0 in the playoffs. Gregory posted a 14-3 record in dual matches playing primarily at third and fourth singles.
