HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata men's swim team fell, 96-50 against the Penn St.-Altoona Lions, Friday evening.
Hunter Mona (State College, Pa. / State College Area) took first in the 800m freestyle touching the wall at 9:11.11. In the 200m freestyle, Evan Walker (Versailles, Pa. / East Allegheny) claimed the second spot finishing with a time of 2:16.25. In the 50 freestyle, Frederick Ginder Victor, N.Y. / Victor Senior High School) finished first coming in with a time of 25.77.
In the 200m IM, Mona finished second with a time of 2:19.27. In the 100m butterfly, Ginder finished second with a time of 1:05.85 while Walker finished third with a time of 1:09.79. Ginder (1:00.18) took first in the 100m freestyle and Walker took the second spot coming in with a time of 1:03.47. In the 400m freestyle, Mona finished second coming in with a time of 4:31.19.
The Eagles will travel to Millersville to compete in a tri-meet with Immaculata on November 23rd.
