Dan Dubois is entering his 11th season as the head coach of Juniata men’s soccer. Dubois previously served as the team’s assistant coach until taking the lead in January of 2007.

 

In his 11 seasons, Dubois has amassed an overall record of 65-120-13 and is currently the winningest coach in the program's 39 year history. Dubois steered the team through its most successful season in 2013 and earned Landmark Conference Coach of the Year honors.

 

The 2013 men’s soccer team finished with a record setting overall mark of 13-6-3 and posted a team best 3-3-1 record in conference matches. The Eagles earned a dramatic 1-0 overtime victory over The University of Scranton for Juniata’s first-ever win against the Royals. The victory, along with a 9-1-1 record to that point, earned Dubois’s team its first-ever National Soccer Coach Association of America (NSCAA) regional ranking. The team remained in the regions top-10 for three consecutive weeks.

 

Juniata earned a 3-1 upset win over top seeded Catholic University of America to advance to the 2013 Landmark championship and earned the programs first-ever Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) tournament appearance.

 

Dubois’s teams have yielded nine All-Landmark recognitions including a record three selections in 2013. His teams’ have shown steady improvement every year since Dubois took over leading the team to more .500 seasons than any other coach.

 

Prior to arriving at Juniata, Dubois spent two seasons as the head coach at his alma mater Southern Vermont College. Dubois earned his degree from Southern Vermont in the spring of 2001, where he was a four-year starter and team captain with the soccer program. He ranks third in school history in points, goals and assists and his play earned him two second-team conference all-star honors.

 

Dubois lives in Huntingdon with his wife Rachel and their son Parker.
