KANSAS CITY, Mo. - On Thursday, the United Soccer Coaches announced its Team Academic Award winners at the collegiate level to recognize exemplary performance in the classroom during the 2018-19 academic year. The Juniata College men's soccer team was named to the list.
Juniata was one of 345 men's programs to earn the honor. The recipients must have a composite grade point average of 3.0 or better on a 4.0 scale for all players on the roster for the 2018-19 school year. The Eagles finished the year with an 3.29 GPA.
Five Landmark schools in total were named academic squads by the organization. Catholic, Goucher, Scranton, and Susquehanna were also honorees for the conference.
