HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata men's soccer team lost to Drew, 7-0, Saturday afternoon at Gibbel Stadium on Senior Day.

The Rangers broke through two minutes into the game, as a back-heel volley through the defense gave them a one on one with the keeper and the Ranger forward finished to put the Eagles in an early 1-0 deficit.

Jacob Owings (Hanover, Pa. / Littlestown), was busy, as he made three saves over the next 10 minutes.

In the 16thminute, an incisive through ball from Nick Sinapius (Phoenixville, Pa. / Phoenixville) on the left wing found Wyatt Page (King of Prussia, Pa. / Shipley) in the box. Page mishit his shot a bit and the Drew keeper scooped up the shot.

Eight minutes later, Drew doubled their lead.

In the 35thminute, Jacob Grove (Harrisburg, Pa. / Central Dauphin HS) rose up and headed a ball towards the back post, but the Ranger keeper snagged it out the air.

Drew struck once more before the halftime buzzer sounded as JC went into the locker room down 3-0. Owings had 12 saves in the first half.

The Rangers scored twice more in the opening 15 minutes to push their lead to 5-0.

The Eagles had several good attacking moves over the next 20 minutes, they just couldn't quite get the shot off.

Drew struck twice more in the final eight minutes to complete the scoring.

Owings had 16 saves in goal for the Eagles, making several impressive stops.

The Eagles will play at Mount. Aloysius, Tuesday at 7:00.
