WILKES- BARRE, Pa.- The Juniata men's soccer team fell, 3-0 at King's College on Saturday afternoon.
The first half was scoreless with the Eagles only able to get off a lone shot. In the 32nd minute, a shot by Jarrod Gibson (Abington, Pa. / Abington) was blocked by a Monarch.
In the 67th minute, King's scored a header off of a corner to get their first goal of the game. The Eagles then had another shot on frame but Nick Sinapius's (Phoenixville, Pa. / Phoenixville) attempt went wide. About ten minutes later, the Monarchs got another after an errant clearance attempt by Juniata. Two minutes later, King's scored again off a corner to extend their lead 3-0.
Andrew Yeich (Middletown, Pa. / Middletown Area) totaled six saves for the Eagles.
Juniata returns to action Wednesday, as they travel to Hood for a 7:00PM game.
