Bridgewater Pulls Away from Men's Lacrosse in Second Half

BRIDGEWATER, Va.- The Juniata men's lacrosse team couldn't keep up in the second half as they lost on the road to Bridgewater University, 15-6, Monday afternoon. 

Reuben Stoll scored three goals and picked up two ground balls, while Liam Walsh had two goals, an assist, and five ground balls. Vincent Bechler added a goal, while Ryan Madison made 15 saves. 

Stoll scored the game's opening goal, and Bridgewater countered with a goal of their own less than a minute later. Stoll scored again, and the hosts countered six minutes later as the quarter ended 2-2. 

Walsh and Stoll scored early in the second quarter to give Juniata a 4-2 lead, but Bridgewater responded by scoring the next seven goals throughout the rest of the second and part of the third, and they led 9-4. 

The Eagles got within four twice, but Bridgewater struck for the final five goals to ice the win. 

Juniata will return to action Saturday at the University of Scranton at 1:00
