Green Terror Down Eagles

HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata men's lacrosse team lost to visiting McDaniel, 20-3, on a sunny, warm Tuesday afternoon at Gibbel Stadium.

Aiden Duran had a goal and an assist in the game, while Kolton Black and Charlie Newman each had a goal apiece. Ryan Madison got the start in goal and made 11 saves for the Eagles, and Kenny Ward made three in the second half.

The Green Terror struck first, three minutes into the game. Thirty-one seconds later, Duran scored amongst the chaos in front of the McDaniel goal to tie things.

From there, McDaniel took control of the game as they scored the next 12 goals over the first and second quarters as Juniata trailed 13-1 at the break.

Duran found Black for the first goal of the third quarter. The Green Terror scored the next two before Juniata managed their third. With under a minute to go in the third, Newman managed to harass the McDaniel goalie into dropping the ball, scooping it up, and slotting it past to make it 15-3.

McDaniel scored in the final seconds of the third and added four more in the final quarter to complete the scoring.

Juniata will travel to take on Catholic Saturday at 1:00.
