Juniata Men's Golf Beats Susquehanna as Top Five Individuals Belong to Juniata

Mount Union, Pa. - The Juniata Men's Golf Team built on their recent successes in a dual match today against Susquehanna at Mount Union Country Club in a rescheduled Dual Match hosted by the Eagles. Juniata took the victory over Susquehanna winning by a margin of 18 strokes in the 318 to 336 victory. Mount Union Country Club is a par 74 playing from 6521 yards. 

Ben Pintof started out with seven consecutive pars in the sunshine. Pintof carded a four over 78 to rise to the top as the best individual score for the match. Colin Wible matched Pintof turning in a 78 of his own finishing in second. Wible's two birdies on the back nine helped him secure a one over 37. Jaron Yoder played in a non-scoring role today shooting an 81. He started out the back nine with two birdies and never turned back racing to third place in the event. Harrison Levithan, coming off a tournament win at Sinking Valley, reeled in an 81 of his own, finishing in fourth. Ethan Brown continued the dominant run he has been on as the Sophomore carded an 81 of his own. Kamden Clapper completed the day with an 86 in what was an impressive win for the Eagles as they owned all top five finishers in the match against conference rival Susquehanna. 

Juniata Men's Golf heads to the Landmark Conference Championship on April 27th in a two-day event at the Shawnee Inn and Golf Resort in Delaware, Pa.
