Juniata Men’s Golf Finishes in 8th at the Northeast Shootout

Wilmington, Del. - The Juniata Men's Golf Team returned to DuPont Country Club today for 18 more holes after 36 the day prior. The Eagles came into today in a firm 8th place where they would finish.

Ben Pintof started the scoring for the Eagles racking up two birdies on the front nine. He finished with an even 39 split good for a 78 and a T27 finish through 54 holes. Harrison Levithan finished in a solo 30th place after shooting 84 as fatigue set in after three rounds in only two days. Levithan had a solid start to the tournament delivering two rounds in the 70s early on at his home course. Colin Wible making his A team debut finished with an 87 after 18 today. Wible's strong showing should help to propel his career at Juniata as he is only a freshman after finishing 53rd. Ethan Brown remained consistent today with an 81 after delivering an 80 and 81 the day prior. The Sophomore standout remains a key contributor to the lineup finishing T41 in a stacked field. Kam Clapper finished with an 80 today after striking early with a birdie on the second hole of the day. Clapper finished in 51st. The Eagles finished in eighth place shooting 323 today following up rounds at 315 and 316.

Juniata Men's Golf returns to action this Friday, April 12 at Sinking Valley Country Club in Tyrone, Pa. They will compete in the Penn State Altoona Spring Invitational.
