Men's Golf Finish Landmark Fall Preview in Fifth

DELAWARE, Pa.- The Juniata men's golf team improved two spots from where they stood at the end of day one of the Landmark Conference Fall Preview from the Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort, finishing in fifth place of the Landmark schools fielding scoring teams. 

After finishing with a 317 on day one, they kept consistent with a 320 on day two for a combined score of 637. They moved ahead of Elizabethtown (639, 7th) and Susquehanna (646, 8th) while they held a narrow lead over Scranton, who were kept to sixth place by just one stroke after posting 319 on both days.

Harrison Levithan and Kyle Rittersbach ended the weekend with the best individual scores for Juniata, finishing +15 with scores of 159. Levithan had an 80 on day two, including a +2 front nine, while Rittersbach posted an 81 in a round that included an even-par front nine. Ben Pintof's day two score finalized Juniata's team score at 82 with a +2 front nine, as he tied for 30th over the weekend with a score of 163. Kamden Clapper had the best individual score for Juniata on the second day, going +5 at 77 after posting an 87 on the first day. He was consistent across the 18, scoring +3 on the front nine and +2 on the back nine. He finished the tournament in 32nd place. Ethan Brown struggled compared to his 79 on the first day, logging an 87 for a combined score of 166 to tie for 35th place.

The conclusion of the Landmark Fall Preview concludes the fall campaign for the Juniata's men's golf team. The full spring schedule for the Eagles is to be determined, but they will conclude the spring with the Landmark Conference Men's Golf Championship from the Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort on Saturday, April 27, and Sunday, April 28.
