Men's Golf Finishes Day One of Landmark Fall Preview in Seventh

DELAWARE, Pa.- The Juniata men's golf team began their two-day weekend with the first leg of the Landmark Conference Fall Preview from the Shawnee Inn & Golf Resort, a par 72 course, on Saturday. 

Juniata deployed the team of Ben Pintof, Kyle Rittersbach, Harrison Levithan, Kamden Clapper, and Ethan Brown for the weekend's tournament. 

Rittersbach had the team's best score, ending +6 with a 78 in 20th place from a field of 46. He was even with a par on the back nine with a birdie on the 16th hole, while he also birdied the second. Levithan and Brown each tied for 21st with a score of 79. Levithan birdied the fourth, going +2 on the front nine, while Brown birdied the 17th. Pintof finalized the team score with an 81, going +1 with a birdie on the fourth hole on the front nine to tie for 27th place. Clapper's score was an 87, putting him in a tie for 41st place.  

The Eagles ended day one with a score of 317 in seventh place. They will start day two within one stroke of Elizabethtown and Susquehanna and eight strokes of third-place Catholic. 

The Juniata men's golf team concludes the fall with the second day of the Landmark Fall Preview tomorrow morning, with tee times starting at 7:30 a.m.
