Eagles Finish Eighth in Landmark Conference Championships

BOALSBURG, Pa.- The Juniata men's golf team concluded the 2022-23 season with day two of the Landmark Conference Championships at the par 70 Mountain View Country Club.  

The team of Caden Hendrickson, Kamden Clapper, Connor Krisko, Ethan Brown, and Larry Singer were the five competing for the Eagles for their second round of the weekend.  

Hendrickson had the best day two score with an 81 that included a +4 front nine with a birdie on the fourth hole. He reduced his day one score by six strokes and finished the tournament, tied for 27th place with a score of 168. Brown followed in scoring for Juniata with an 82 for the day and a +4 score on the front nine, including five straight pars to start the day. The 82 was a seven-stroke improved on his first day, and Brown ended the tournament in 31st place with a score of 171. Clapper had an 84 on the second day compared to an 89 on day one for a combined score of 173 to finish tied for 34th. Singer finished with a 93 in the second round, which put him in 37th place with a score of 177. Krisko had an 89 on Saturday and finished in 39th with a score of 182, improving his day one score by four strokes. 

The Eagles ended the tournament in eighth place with a combined score of 685, improving the team score by 13 strokes on day one with a 336 on the second day.  

The Eagles concluded the 2022-23 season with the final day of the Landmark Conference Championships. The tournament marked the last event for seniors Hendrickson and Krisko, while Jake Matchock and Luke Boyle also have concluded their time competing for Juniata.
