Singer Leads Way for Eagles in Day One of Landmark Conference Championships

BOALSBURG, Pa.- The Juniata men's golf team began Landmark Conference Championships play on day one of the conference's tournament at the par 70 Mountain View Country Club.  

The team of Caden Hendrickson, Kamden Clapper, Connor Krisko, Ethan Brown, and Larry Singer are competing in the weekend tournament. 

Singer held the team's best score on the day with a score of 84 to tie for 22nd place. He began the day with four straight pars and a birdie on the fifth hole, going +4 on the front nine. Hendrickson followed with an 87 to tie for 29th. Clapper and Brown each finished with scores of 89 to tie for 33rd and to round off the team score. Kirsko had a score of 93 which gave him 39th place.  

Juniata ended day one with a score of 349 and in a tie for the seventh position. 

Day two of the Landmark Conference Championships is slated for tomorrow for the final 18. They are tied for seventh place with Elizabethtown and stand nine strokes back from sixth-place Susquehanna.
