Men's Golf Claims 11th in Arcadia Spring Invite

YARDLEY, Pa.- The Juniata men's golf team competed in a single-day tournament at the Arcadia Spring Invite at the par 72 Makefield Highlands Golf Club.  

The team of Kamden Clapper, Connor Krisko, Caden Hendrickson, Jake Matchock, and Larry Singer made up the scoring side for the Eagles, while Luke Boyle competed as an individual in the event. 

Clapper led the way for Juniata, going +4 on the day with a score of 76 to tie for ninth place. He went +4 on the front nine, then even on the back nine with birdies on the 11th, 12th, 14th, and 16th. It's the third-straight round that he has had the best individual score for the Eagles.

Krisko followed with a score of 86 to tie for 48th. Krisko had back-to-back birdies on the second and third holes, with another on the 13th. Matchock scored an 89 to tie for 59th, finding birdie on the first and ninth. Hendrickson rounded out the scoring four for Juniata with a 91 to finish in 62nd. Singer placed 67th with a score of 99. 

Boyle, competing as an individual, logged a 107 to tie for 71st place. 

As a team, Juniata finished in 11th place with a score of 342. 

The Eagles next play on Monday as Stevenson hosts the Stevenson Spring Invite at the Piney Branch Golf Club.
