Men's Golf Finishes Eighth in Augustine Intercollegiate

STAFFORD, Va.- The Juniata men's golf team concluded the Arcadia-hosted Augustine Intercollegiate with day two from the par 71 Augustine Golf Club on Saturday afternoon. 

The team of Kamden Clapper, Connor Krisko, Ethan Brown, Larry Singer, and Caden Hendrickson completed their second day on the course.  

Clapper ended with the best score in the tournament for the Eagles, finishing with a score of 169 following an 84 on day two, tying for 39th. He was followed by Krisko with 171 to tie for 41st. Brown scored 173 in the tournament for a tie in 46th place, reducing his day one score by nine strokes for a team-best 82 on day two. Singer rounded out scoring in 48th with a 174, going six strokes lower on day two with an 84. Hendrickson finished in 52nd with a score of 181. 

Juniata improved one place from yesterday, finishing the tournament in eighth place, while improving 17 strokes on the team's day one score. 

The Juniata men's golf team is back in competition this Thursday with the ETown Spring Invite at the Hershey Country Club East Course, with a noon start.
