Eagles Play in Day One of Cardinal Classic

HAGERSTOWN, Md. - The Juniata men's golf team took part in day one of the Catholic University-hosted Cardinal Classic at the Black Rock Golf Course, a par 72. 

Kamden Clapper led the scoring for the Eagles with an 83 to finish tied for 25th place. After going +8 on the front nine, Clapper bounced back with a +3 on the back nine and a birdie on the par three 17th hole. Larry Singer followed with a score of. 84, finishing tied for 27th. Singer went +6 on the front nine and the back nine with a birdie on the first hole. Colby Starr followed with a score of 86 to finish in 29th. Connor Krisko rounded out team scoring for the Eagles with a score of 94. Ethan Brown featured as well on day one, as he scored 96.  

Juniata finished day one in sixth place with a score of 347. 

The Cardinal Classic concludes tomorrow with tee times beginning at 10:00 am.
