Husted Named to Landmark First Team, Eisenhart Earns Second Team Spot

TOWSON, Md.- The Juniata men's basketball team picked up a pair of Landmark Conference All-Conference selections, as senior post Chase Husted was named to the First Team and guard Evan Eisenhart was named to the Second Team. 

Chase Husted earned his fourth consecutive Landmark All-Conference selection and back-to-back First-Team appearances. Among Landmark Conference players this season, Husted was second in points per game (19.7), third in rebounds per game (9.3), first in field goal percentage among qualifying players (60.8%), 13th in assists per game (2.6), and 20th in steals per game (1.0). His 60.8% field goal percentage is 21st across Division III.  

He recorded 11 double-doubles this season, marking a new career high, while he eclipsed 1000 points at Lycoming in December. In December's win against Scranton, he set a new career-high with 29 points. Heading into ECAC Tournament play in his senior season, he is currently 7th in program history in rebounds (723), 11th in points (1298), and eighth in blocked shots (65). 

Evan Eisenhart earns his first All-Conference selection with an appearance on the second team. Among Landmark Conference players, he converted the second-most three-point field goals per game (2.9) while he ranks tied for 28th across DIII. He has the third-best three-point field goal percentage among qualifying players in the Landmark Conference (37.9%).  

Eisenhart has averaged the second-most points per game (13.4) for the Eagles this season, behind only Husted, while had the second-best free throw percentage (75.0%) and the second-best three-point percentage (37.9%) for players averaging at least ten minutes per game. 

Heading into the ECAC Tournament in his senior year, he has the fourth-most career three-point field goals (176), while he is currently tied for the fourth most in a single season (69).  

Juniata enters the ECAC Tournament as the first seed and will face the winner of Saturday's ECAC Quarterfinal between (4) Saint Vincent College and (5) Penn State Behrend on Sunday at 2:00 pm in the Semifinal.
