Juniata Basketball Set to Tipoff February 5

HUNTINGDON, Pa.- After months of planning at the NCAA, Landmark, and institutional level, with the focus on the health and well-being of our student-athletes, coaches, and support staff,  Juniata is excited to announce their 2021 Juniata Men's & Women's basketball schedules, as approved by the Landmark Conference. 

The Eagles will play a home-and-home series with four other Landmark Conference schools, followed by a Landmark Conference Tournament that all five teams will qualify for.

As part of the health and safety protocols, spectators will not be permitted at this time.  However, all games will be available on https://landmarknetwork.tv/.

All weekday games will start at 7:00 p.m., and all weekend games will jump ball at 4 p.m. 

The women's team will open up at home on February fifth at home against Moravian, while the men will begin their season on the road against the Greyhounds. The teams will reverse locations Sunday as the men host Moravian while the women head out to Bethlehem to visit Moravian. On Tuesday, February ninth, the women will host Catholic while the men travel to Washington, DC. The Eagles get the weekend off before playing the reverse matchup with the men at home and the women at Catholic on February 16. The men will host Drew on Friday, February 19, while the women get the opportunity to host Drew that Sunday, February 21. Juniata will wrap the regular season against Scranton, with the men hosting first Friday, February 26, and the women returning to Memorial Gymnasium to host the following day, Saturday the 27.  

The Landmark Conference Tournament will get underway on Tuesday, March second, with the play-in game between the No. 4 and No. 5 seed. Semifinal contests are slated for Thursday, March fourth, and the winners of the two semifinal games will play in the conference championship game on Saturday, March sixth.
