TOWSON, Md.- Juniata men's basketball standout Marcus Lee (Carrolltown, Pa./Bishop Carroll) was named Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week.
On Wednesday, Lee helped the Eagles defeat Susquehanna University, 75-66. Lee totaled 15 points, seven rebounds, and three blocks. On Saturday, Lee assisted the Eagles in defeating The University of Scranton, 74-71. After winning on Saturday, that meant that the Eagles swept the series against Scranton for the first time since the Landmark's inception in 2007. Against the Royals, Lee drilled the go-ahead three with just over a minute to play to help the Eagles clinch the victory. During the game, Lee tallied 23 points and three blocks.
Juniata is currently 18-3 overall and 7-3 in the Landmark. They return to action this Wednesday, February 7th as they travel to Elizabethtown for a 7:00PM tip-off.
