TOWSON, Md.- The Juniata men's basketball standout Marcus Lee (Carrolltown, Pa./Bishop Carroll) was named Landmark Conference Athlete of the Week.
On Tuesday, Lee assisted the Eagles in dominating the Presidents from Washington & Jefferson defeating them 80-54. During the game, Lee tallied 21 points and eight rebounds. On Sunday, Lee assisted the Eagles again in another dominating performance in their first home game of the season against Alvernia. Juniata defeated Alvernia 70-41. Lee totaled 16 points and 11 rebounds. Early in the game Lee had back-to-back layups to get the Eagles caught up to the Golden Wolves. Lee then opened the second half with a nice move down low to give the Eagles a lead of 37-28.
Juniata will open conference play on December 2nd where they will play at home against Scranton at 2:00PM.
