Lee Named to Landmark Conference First Team

TOWSON, Md.- The Landmark Conference released its All-Conference Teams on Wednesday. Juniata junior center Marcus Lee (Carrolltown, Pa./Bishop Carroll) was selected to the First Team. This is the second straight season he has been named to the First Team and he becomes the first player in Eagle history to be named twice since Juniata joined the Landmark in 2007.

Lee started 24 of 25 games for JC in 2016-17 and averaged just over 27 minutes per contest. He reached double figures in all but two games. He scored 20+ points in six games and led JC in scoring for the third straight season. He scored a season-high 24 points against Goucher in the Eagles' home finale. On January 14, he became the 17th player in Juniata history to reach the 1,000-point milestone.

Lee averaged 16 points per game to rank seventh in the Landmark. His 57.9 field goal percentage is third in the conference. He was also the Eagles' leading rebounder with an average of 5.2 boards per contest, which puts him in 11th in the Landmark.
