HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata men's basketball team has been selected to participate in the Eastern Collegiate Athletic Conference (ECAC) Tournament it was announced today. The Eagles will play Westminster (Pa.) on Wednesday in New Wilmington, Pa.
This will mark Juniata's second straight appearance and seventh overall in the ECAC Tournament. The Eagles qualified in 2007, 2008, and 2012-14 winning titles in 2013 and 2014.
The Titans and Eagles have played each other 35 times but this is the first meeting since December 8, 2008 which Juniata won 75-65 at Westminster. The Titans hold a 27-8 advantage in the series.
JC was 13-12 in the regular season and 5-9 in the Landmark Conference. Westminster was 15-11 and 11-7 in the Presidents Athletic Conference. The Titans lost to Bethany (WV) in the PAC Quarterfinals.
The winner of the Juniata-Westminster game will play DeSales University on Friday. Game time this Wednesday will be at 7:00 p.m.
