Juniata Hosts Coaches vs. Cancer Tournament This Weekend

HUNTINGDON, Pa.- On Friday and Saturday, Juniata men's basketball will host the Coaches vs. Cancer Tournament sponsored by the Comfort Inn. The Eagles will play Cazenovia College on 7 p.m. with Penn State Altoona and Mount Aloysius tipping off in the first game at 5 p.m.

 

Admission to the games is $4 for adults and students without ID and $2 for seniors and young children. Students are admitted for free with a student ID but are asked to make a donation. No passes will be accepted. All money from the sale of tickets and game programs will be donated to the Coaches vs. Cancer Program.

 

The Coaches vs. Cancer program is a nationwide collaboration between the American Cancer Society and the National Association of Basketball Coaches. The initiative leverages the personal experiences, community leadership, and professional excellence of coaches nationwide. The program seeks to increase cancer awareness and promote healthy living among students, faculty and staff, fans, and the community at large.
