KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Juniata College men's basketball team is one of a record-setting number of colleges and universities to receive the National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Team Academic Excellence Award.

The award is given to NCAA Division I, II, III, and NAIA Division I and II teams that achieve a cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or better for the 2013-14 season. Last season the Eagles finished with an overall record of 18-10 and captured the programs second consecutive Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III Regional Tournament title.

Four Juniata men's basketball players earned NABC Honors Court status for achieving a 3.2 or higher GPA for the season and four Eagles were named to the Landmark Conference Winter Academic Honor Roll.
