KANSAS CITY, Mo. – Four members of the most successful class to pass through Juniata College men's basketball can add one for plaque to their walls – recent graduates Pat Cassidy (Hollidaysburg, Pa./Hollidaysburg), Brian Scholly (State College, Pa. / State College), Kevin Snyder (Indiana, Pa. / Indiana), and Kevin Stapleton (Indiana, Pa. / Indiana) all earned National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) 2013-14 Honors Court status, the organization announced on Tuesday.

"It's a credit to their focus and work ethic and shows that these guys are complete student-athletes," said head coach Greg Curley. "They took their academic careers as serious as their athletic careers and we're very proud of everything they've accomplished."

To qualify for the Honors Court players must meet all four of the following requirements:

1. Academically a junior or senior and a varsity player.
2. Cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.2 or higher at the conclusion of the 2013-14 academic year.
3. Students must have matriculated at least one year at their current institution.
4. Member of an NCAA Division I, II, III, or NAIA Division I or II institution with a NABC member coach.

The 2013-14 Eagles completed an 18-10 season and won the programs second consecutive Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) Division III tournament title. Both Scholly and Stapleton eclipsed the 1,000-career-points mark during their final season and Scholly was the recipient of the 2014 John E. Blood award, presented annually to the senior student-athlete who has earned the highest grade point average combined with significant athletic achievement.

Scholly, Snyder, and Stapleton were all three-time members of the Landmark Conference Academic Honor Roll and Cassidy received honor roll status in 2011-12.
