Field Hockey Tabbed Fifth in Landmark Preseason Poll

HUNTINGDON, Pa.- The Juniata field hockey team was selected fifth in this season's Landmark Conference preseason poll.

Juniata finished 19 points behind Elizabethtown, while Scranton is tabbed third with 42 points. Susquehanna and Catholic take the top two spots with 58 points and 60 points, respectively. 

Juniata returns both of their Landmark All-Conference players; Grace Alexander (Mifflinburg, Pa. / Mifflinburg) and Grace Kuszmaul (Moorestown, N.J. / Moorestown). Alexander and Kuszmaul were both named to the all-conference second team. The Eagles bring back nine upperclassmen which includes three juniors and six seniors. The Eagles are also returning seven sophomores while bringing in seven newcomers. 

Juniata will start off their season this Friday, August 30th at Alvernia. Game time is set for 7:00pm.
