GALLOWAY, N.J.- The Juniata field hockey team fell 1-0, at Stockton in the ECAC semifinals.
The first half the two teams were scoreless, each team only took one shot apiece. After a corner, a shot by Lindsay Scholten (Holly Springs, N.C. / Brookfield) went wide.
Within the first ten minutes of the second half, Juniata managed to get off five shots but four of them were saved by the Stockton goalie. For the next ten minutes, Stockton held on to the ball taking four corners and two shots. In the 58th minutes, after a corner, Stockton scored with a tip-in shot that went past the Eagle goalie.
Juniata outshot Stockton, 6-4 but Stockton held an edge on Juniata in penalty corners, 7-5
