THE STORY: Juniata hosted Dickinson in a non-conference game on Wednesday night at Knox Stadium. The two teams went to overtime where the Red Devils scored the game's only goal as they won 1-0.

HOW IT HAPPENED: Dickinson was granted a penalty corner 1:14 into the overtime period. The Red Devils Catherine Perlmutter hit a shot that got past Eagle goaltender Kylie Edwards (Danville, Pa./Danville) and in for the winning goal.

IN THE CAGE: Edwards had seven saves in the cage for the Eagle. Meredith Shephard (Cazenovia, NY/Cazenovia) picked up a defensive save for Juniata.

INSIDE THE BOX SCORE: Dickinson outshot Juniata 17-3. Brittani LaFollette (Baltimore, Md./Sparrows Point) had all three shots for the Eagles. Perlmutter led the Red Devils with eight total shots and five on goal.

TEAMS RECORDS: The loss snaps Juniata's four-game winning streak as it falls to 8-9. Dickinson improves to 11-5.

UP NEXT: Juniata hosts conference rival Elizabethtown this Saturday on Senior Day. An Eagles win assures JC the fourth and final playoff spot in the Landmark. If Juniata loses, it would need a Goucher loss to Drew to clinch. Start time is at 5:30 p.m.
