Huntingdon, Pa., Sarah Bilheimer (Bethlehem, PA / Freedom) has received yet another accolade for her play during the 2014 season. The forward has been named to the NFHCA South Atlantic All-Region Second-Team. The two-time Landmark Offensive Player of the Week earned First-Team All-Conference honors at the conclusion of the regular season.

Bilheimer finished the season tied for first in the Landmark with eight assists and fourth in goals scored with 11, leading the Eagles in each category. The junior was a major factor in the team’s success on offense this season, assisting on or scoring many game-tying or game-winning goals. Bilheimer scored her first collegiate hat trick of her career this season in a game versus Alvernia at home. Her biggest score of the year came in the conference semifinals at Elizabethtown, scoring the walk-off golden goal, flipping the ball over the Blue Jay’s six foot keeper, to send the Eagles into the Championship game against rival Catholic.

Juniata finished the season as Landmark Conference Champions, advancing to the NCAA Division III Field Hockey Championship for the first time since 2010. The Eagles defeated Gwynedd-Mercy in the first round of the tournament, before falling to Wellesley in the "Sweet Sixteen".
