Field hockey scheduled to play Catholic in Landmark semi-final

HUNTINGDON, Pa. – Juniata College field hockey clinched the No. 4 seed in the 2011 Landmark Conference tournament and will travel to Catholic University of America on Wednesday, Nov. 2 for a 5:00 p.m. semifinal contest.

Juniata heads into the match with a 10-7 overall record and a 3-3 Landmark Conference record. The Eagles landed the No. 4 seed after falling 3-1 to The University of Scranton (12-5, 3-3 Landmark) Monday, Oct. 31 in the last regular season Landmark Conference contest for both teams. 

The other Landmark semifinal game, to also be played on November 2 at 5:30 p.m., will take place in Madison, N.J. between the second seed Drew University Rangers (11-8, 4-2 Landmark) and the No. 3 seed Scranton.

The winner of the Juniata game and the Drew vs. Scranton contest will play for the Landmark Conference Championship on Saturday, November 5.
