Coach Hepner is in his sixth season coaching here at Juniata but has been coaching for over 20 years. He was the linebackers coach for a year before being promoted to defensive coordinator at Mifflin County High. He was also the defensive coordinator at East Juniata High. He spent eight years at Lewistown Area where he fulfilled many positions including defensive coordinator, linebackers coach and running backs coach.
He played at Mansfield University from 1991-1995 and was an assistant coach there the first year after he graduated.
