WILLIAMSPORT, Pa.- The Juniata football team lost on the road to Lycoming College, 56-10, Saturday afternoon at David Person Field. 

Joey Menke ran 11 times for 73 yards, while Ethan Shank led the team in total tackles with 11, while Dawson Booher made two interceptions. 

The teams traded punts early in the game before the 24-yard punt return gave the Warriors a good field position as they started at the Juniata 28. Three players later, the hosts ran it in from eight yards out for the first points of the game. 

Lycoming struck twice more in the quarter, scoring two additional rushing touchdowns as they led 21-0 after one. 

The second quarter saw the Warriors score on their third play of the quarter on a 33-yard rush, and on the first play of their next drive, they scored on a 90-yard passing touchdown to push their lead to 35-0.

Inside the final two minutes, a four-yard reception for six pushed their lead to 42 at the halftime break. 

With 10 minutes to go in the third, Booher intercepted a pass at the Lycoming 18, and four plays later, Junseo Deckard booted a 37-yard field goal through the uprights to get JC on the board. 

Booher ended the next Warrior drive with a pick at the Eagle 32, and Juniata used 16 plays to drive 66 yards as Noah Wright ran it in from a yard out for six. Lycoming scored one final touchdown to complete the scoring. 

The Eagles will host Keystone next Saturday for Senior Day, Saturday, November 4, at 12:00.
