Chamberlain Named Running Backs & Tight Ends Coach

HUNTINGDON, Pa.- Juniata College is pleased to announce Max Chamberlain as the football team's assistant coach for running backs and tight ends. 

Chamberlain comes from Division I East Carolina University, where he spent the last year as a Student Manager of Football Operations. In this role, he assisted the team's Director of Football Operations with day-to-day operations, clinics, equipment management, and recruitment. He also served as a liaison between operations and coaches as new players were onboarded with the Pirates. Other responsibilities included coordinating daily team activities and logistics, scheduling and planning for ECU's various camps, and assisting players with travel logistics.  

Before serving in the Football Operations department, Chamberlain spent his first four years at ECU as an Equipment Manager for the team. In this role, he was responsible for gameday setup and teardown, gained expertise in proper equipment fitting, oversaw equipment maintenance, and supervised equipment staff after his first season with the team.  

Chamberlain earned a Bachelor of Science in Sports Studies from East Carolina with a minor in History.
