Stephens Earns Centennial All-Conference Honorable Mention

LANCASTER, Pa. - Sophomore defensive back Quintin Stephens earned All-Centennial Conference Honorable Mention recognition for his defensive performance in the 2022 season.  

Stephens posted a team-high seven pass breakups, tied for the fourth-most breakups by a Centennial Conference player, while he led the Eagles with four interceptions during a run where he posted one interception in four consecutive games. His four interceptions are tied for the second-most by a Centennial Conference player. He totaled 40 solo tackles, the third-most by a conference player, and 18 assisted tackles for 5.8 total tackles per game.  

Stephens earned Honorable Mention for his defensive performance, but he was also a key component of the offensive and special teams units. As a rotational wide receiver, he posted 169 yards on six receptions with three receiving touchdowns. This, combined with a two-point conversion, gave Stephens the most points scored by an Eagles player in 2022. He was the team's regular kick returner, and he averaged 13.9 yards per kick return across 27 returns for 376 total yards. Stephens also made a cameo as a quarterback in the season finale against Susquehanna, posting 45 yards on two completions from two attempts.
