Centennial Conference Update

LANCASTER, Pa. – Today, the Centennial Conference made an announcement suspending all fall sports while the Landmark Conference continues to meet with officials at member schools to determine their course of action for student-athletes in the fall.

Given the health and other related concerns, the Centennial Conference Presidents Council decided to suspend any intercollegiate competition for sports scheduled for the fall 2020 semester. As a member of the Centennial Conference, Juniata College will continue to explore opportunities for fall participation and maintain NCAA Championship opportunities for these student-athletes.

The conference does plan to evaluate the possibility of playing football in the spring. Final decisions will be made toward the end of September.

Juniata College competes in the Centennial Conference for football, the Continental Volleyball Conference for men's volleyball, and the Landmark Conference for all other sports.

Further information regarding plans to play in the fall will be communicated as soon as it becomes available.
