LANCASTER, Pa.- Juniata College football standout Joel Reighard (Altoona, Pa./Altoona Area HS) was named the Centennial Conference CO-Special Teams Player of the Week for his all-around special teams excellence in Juniata's 41-32 victory over Grove City. He shared the honor with Johns Hopkins' Jamie Sullivan.
The junior defensive back/kicker did a bit of everything for the Eagles. He returned a punt 70 yards for a touchdown midway through the fourth quarter, and returned another punt 50 yards. Reighard went 6/6 on extra points and averaged 57.9 yards on his kickoffs. He also led the team in total tackles on the day with eight.
